Caro Karlsson grew up a military brat and was raised in Virginia, Florida, Michigan, Rhode Island, Virginia (again), Illinois, Virginia (again), Illinois (again), until her immediate family finally settled in Virginia.

With a Bachelors degree from Florida State University, a Certificate from Northern Virginia Community College, and a Masters degree from the University of Maryland University College (now UMGC), Caro usually finds her thought patterns conflicted when asked about her alma mater.

Caro works in the Washington, D.C. area for a software development firm as an expert product manager serving public sector clientele, and she holds a chapter officer position with the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She enjoys her cats, gentle gardening, modest photography and periodic volunteering, and she has traveled across the USA, in the Caribbean, and Europe.

Caro’s debut novel, Timing, was a 2014 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award quarterfinalist. Here After, a novelette, followed. One of these days she may finish the sequel to the latter.
